Mick

“Mick”

.

Adrogenous man

Dancing prancing mouthing songs

Always makes me smile

Slick

“Slick”

.

Taking advantage

His brain on wax paper

A non stick surface

                             –Cynthia M. Johnson

Erratic

Punctuation screams

Adjectives fall at my feet

Nouns are what I dream

“You”

Sweat drips to the floor

Your intensity is real

You scare me to death

Cindy Clawford (the cat)

When I  lived in Gulf Shores, in around 2002, I belonged to a Writing Club.  One of my writer friend’s was named Michael and he was always telling amusing stories about his cat, “Cindy Clawford”.  These stories usually involved bloody mutilated animals and her cat behavior regarding them.  Our club was great as we would write haiku or  poetry about any weird (or not) subject we wanted, then share.   The other day I ran across four old haiku(s) from 2002 that I wrote about Michael’s cat, Cindy Clawford. :-)   Here they are:

.

“Chomp Chomp”

.

Cindy gobbles prey

Brings blood soaked bones, her best gift

Drops at Michael’s feet

——————————————–

“Squirming Rat”

.

Michael in leather

Cracks whip, says girl grab that rat

Drag him to Daddy

——————————————–

“Cindy Clawford, the Dominatrix”

.

Dominatrix rules

Thigh high boots on hairy thighs

Exposed claws in air

———————————————

“Torture Chamber”

.

Cindy Clawford’s prey

In Michael’s torture chamber

Handcuffed to dark walls
